Have a model 500 s/n47245 11-19-'07
the main bearing housing that holds the race to the roller-bearing is worn and the 3/4" shaft is not supported by the bearing;
could use a whole assembly or parts.
this is the slave bearing opposite the drive pully,
fully accessable. any help for parts in the SF bay area would be usefull.
would travel w/in 100mi. if necessary.

 Roto Hoe Model 700 chassis w/Roto-Hoe 500 chipper/shredder in reply to pair-a-dice farms, 11-19-2007 11:18:31
Raleigh---I just bought a ' group ' of used equipment from an estate and in it was a Roto Hoe that shows Model 700 on the chassis cover, it has 3 forward gears and 1 in reverse. But, on the front end of the chassis is a Model 500 Cut'n Shred Shedder that is belt driven by a 7HP Tecunseh Engine. The engine does not have a carburetor so I plan to part it out, but found your ad. My brother lives in Pinole, Calif, but that doesn't help us get this to you. Call me on my cell if you are interested in the entire unit.
