I was wondering if any of you would have the stock cam specs for a Farmall 300 gas and 504 gas. Want to compare the two and maybe grind my 300 cam to 504 specs. Any help would be appeciated.

I talked to Sonny @ Bullet cams and had a great chat with him. Thanks again for the info Sonny! Seemed like a great guy and willing to help anyone out.

Cheers!

Sid

Sid,I had a chance to sit down with a 300 gas head this week, stuffed the chamber full of clay, and then, took a brass hammer and tapped the valve into the clay,,, I was able to measure how much valve travel the stock spring could handle without binding, and I came up with no more than .350 of actual valve movement before it bottoms out the spring. On the cam Im running in my H, I have to make room for more travel, dont know If im gonna find a custom spring, or cut more area under the spring to give more room for travel. Havent decided yet,,,,, Still digging up the cam specs,, found the cam card for Something Wilder though,,,,, I thought the two cards were together,,,, darn it!! Ill keep lookin. Hope this helps a little,,,,, ChadS ChadS3@hotmail.com
