Wanted to thank Tracy, Doug, Eddie, JR. and the whole CKAP gang for a great pullers banquet. Great food, great folks, great awards and a great time. Anyone who missed it, really missed out on a great banquet. I don't get to pull with them as often as I would like, but after Sat. night, I will sure make an extra effert to be at as many of their pulls as I can. I know of some other clubs that need to take some banquet tips from CKAP. Thanks so much again.

Thanks for the kind words--but the real thanks goes out to you and the rest of the pullers. CKAP is what it is today because of you guys. When we started this thing as a non-profit several years ago, we didn't really know what we were doing--but by watching and asking lots of questions (thanks John Lampkin) we have what I would like to like to think of as a real good thing. Doug and I have had so much fun and made so many good friends over the years, I really wonder what we did before we started pullin'.

A special thanks to Carol and Crane for driving all the way up from Alabama to be with us Saturday night. Also, to everyone who joined us--it was fun and great to be with our "pullin' family" outside of an actual pull.

We look forward to another great season next year and are planning to cap the season off with the whole gang going down to Tunica next week. If you are out on the road Thursday afternoon and see a convoy of about 18 rigs--you'll know it's CKAP!!!

SL,I hate to agree with you, but I will this time. I have been to pulling banquets the last few years and sports banquets before that. This was the best all around banquet I've ever been too. We really enjoyed ourselves. The food was really good and everything moved at a good pace. With the end of seasons awards and door prizes everyone was involved and came away with something. Eddie's comic skit was almost real. Hope we all get to attend more pulls in 2005. See ya'll in Tunica.
