Make sure you don't have Champion plugs in it.Use Autolite or AC plugs. Are you still using the oil bath breather?Dirt dobbers can wreak havoc on the breather spouts.Let us know what you find.Jack(TN).

It does sound like the ignition, Plug gap??? weak spark, and wrong plug gap will cause that in a 2 cyl. ChadS

Also make sur the load adjustment is not too rich,, will make it stumble, try to set the load adjustment onthe carb, with a load on the engine. They can be finicky. Chad

Not sure the # but they are AC plugs.I was tring to use a paper element but it is unhooked now.The motor is 125 over fresh build ,elect. ign.i've tried 3 carbs now with 3 different results.Might have to wait till next year to test more cause pulling is over. Thanks 36 A

How was your valve guides and intake valves.I had a 53 G that stumbled like that and my intake valves were beat up pretty bad and the guides were shot.I would figure that you had the head worked when you rebuilt but I thought I would ask.I used C 87 AC plugs in mine with a pertronix ignition and had good luck.Wish you luck,Jack(TN).
