I have a 1941 A that has a vibration in #2 cylinder. Since I am going to probably take it apart to fix it I was thinking of juicing it up. Can anyone give me any specs on how big I can go with parts and what I would have to do to any existing parts(ie block). And does anyone know where to find pulling parts for an A. Thanks

Try giving Triple G Service a call .They usually have some good parts on hand and the costumer service is outstanding.Call 1-888-720-0830 and ask for Bob.Jerry.

You can bore your block to .125 over, get high compression pistons, plain your head off, you could do a cam and go to a DLTX 71 carb off a later "A" or a DLTX 51 (big nut) off a "G", gut your air cleaner and make it a dry filter, go either with one of Roberts carb puller mags or change to a distributer with pointless ignition. If you really want to spend some money and go big. Stroke it, find a power block, and bore it out with new pistons.
