No, not yet. I am still building the cyl head. Trying something different this time. It has been a slow process in this small set back, but I have patience. Good job, I knew you could do it. So, tell us about the lucky hook. Chads

Secret's in the fuel pump Chad. Gotta remember to turn that blankety blank thang on. I bet that old H would carry a 19-B disc for a ride.

I've got some good MM Z carb tricks. What have you got and whats wrong. Would like to talk to you about any tricks you have for MM Z's. I've got a pretty tough one, but always looking for more.

It is a 52 ZAU. with a marvel shebler. I am changing fuels in this tractor, and I have not got it jetted right yet. It is bone stock as far as I know, it has 42 hp @ 540. This is the first MM I have owned, I am amazed at the power these little Z's have. I have not got in to the governor yet, I would like to have a few more rpm, not much just a little. How is it done?? Chads

Mine is a 37 ZTU, it has the RE motor, half inch less stroke than your ZAU (4.5" ZTU, 5" ZAU). It makes 36 hp @ 540 rpm with the kerosine manifold (very resrictive). Nebraska test shows 26 hp for my model. It has .125 over M&W pistons and the 226C head. With yours being a 5 inch stroke engine the hp sounds about right as compared to mine. Carburetor and govennor can be enhanced, much to long a post to explain here e-mail me and we'll talk. I pull stock class and don't want to change manifolds, head or stroke. This tractor sure gives those antique ('39 and under) 2 plow tractors fits. Normally its a top three tractor when I run in the antique class and a top five tractor when we pull antiques and classics combined. I love giving those early JD A's and WC's a hard way to go.
