1942a, I got a call Thursday (4/4/2013) that mine was done and ready to be shipped. Mine was the first of the batch to get finished so yours should be done soon if not already. Mark

I can"t say every builder, but all of the shops I have bought from take a long time to get these custom parts out. I have waited more than a year twice for stroker kits, I have had them send you parts one piece at a time, seeming to string you along. It is very frustrating. I have not bought any big parts from Jeff, but I have bought several roller rockers, manifolds and other parts. He always has that stuff in stock, and ships quickley.

Just a wild guess. I imagine that Jeff does not do the casting in house. I imagine that the company that does the casting has a production minimum before they pour.

Just call some casting companies in your area and see if they can do a one-off casting to your blue print and see how they price it. Then take your raw casting to a machine shop, with your blue print, and have it machined. Not to mention that a lot of castings get "seasoned" for days/weeks/months before they are machined. It is not hard to understand how it might take some time to get your hands on such a specialty item from the time the order is placed.

Just speculation on my part. Of the products that I have used/know people that have used, his products are worth the wait.

Yea, I ordered one September 14 2012 and was told I would have it January 4 2013 while out that way at the Gordyville pull and still don't have it yet. Guess I should have asked what year. Guess that's why he wants 50% down so you can't walk away from it. Wish he was more up front about when he could have it done! Mark Benhoff

I took my block to a machine shop to have it bored myself. If you look around, you can find one without sending it away. BUT if you still want to send it away, I would suggest getting hold of Ray @ Extreme and see if he can give you some sort of date.919-605-6040
