1952 G with Dennys rebuilt '51 carb for sale. Scerial number 53090. This will be a great fixer-uper G for a possialbe puller. The G runs great. The crank shaft is a little worn. This G has been a total work G. Its has taken care of mowing, and spraying of weeds. The cosmetics is it biggest problem. But the tractor runs great!

I can send pictures on request.

Yes I am interested but I would rather not post an address. Drop me an email if you don't mind.

Seller, you might want to read the heading at the top of the forum pages that says there are to be no classified ads posted on the forums - put them in the classifieds, auctions or photo ads sections. That's probably what Burns is referring to.

You always hear replies from G-man about being a John Deere Tech, I have often wondered how a person can spend so much time on here giving people advice, makes me wonder if the work order you are currently working under is paying for all the time spent on the computer and not actually working. Just a thought.

I don't think I'd really worry about how I spend my time if I were you. I really don't understand why you should care. Most of my posts are done before work, after work, at lunch or at breaks. I also probably have a little better typing skills than you do, so I can post pretty quickly if I happen to be on here and see something I want to respond to. And as long as my efficiency and times on jobs are as good as they currently are, I don't think I'm going to worry about it either. Thanks for your concern, though, you really added a lot to the content of this post. Too bad you don't have the guts to post a name or an email address so I can thank you properly. By the way, I fixed a push mower, rebuilt an LP converter and assembled and reinstalled the charge pump, main hydraulic pump, rockshaft and SCV stack on a 7410, as well as changed the hydraulic oil, sump screen and filter. What did you do? Have a productive day with your Legos? Grow up and worry about yourself - you'll be better off.

Sorry Rman, I forgot to mention that I did all those things today. I can get the SPG times and post them, so we can see how well I used the day. Would you like that or do you just want to drop it?

Kinda funny how I just made a simple evaluation and you went ballastic on the post. I guess my point really hit home with you. I would like to see the SPG times if you do not mind. I am sorry to realize that, yes you do have the most superb typing skills and to be able to work on your own tractor all by yourself must have been a really big step in your manhood. I only hope that I too can one day become as great as you are. You are my hero G-Man. I also was wondering, if you are such the man, why you feel the need to hide behind an e-mail address to reply to my post. Are you scared that someone will actually see how you really respond to customers when they come into your shop, or ask you a simple question? I really think it is quite funny how you responded as a typical working man would have simply blown it off and laughed about it. You on the other hand must feel so inadequate about yourself that you feel that you must just stand up to be heard, otherwise you are afraid that you will go on unoticed by your lack of expertise. Just another evaluation I have made about you. The point is, if you are so good at what you do, why are you worried about trivial matters? I would like to invite you over to teach me the proper typing skills as well as play with me and my Legos. I am having trouble with the scv's on it as well as the charge pump, maybe you could unleash your power and help me? Just asking, I do not want you to feel obligated to share or feel left out. I hope you can sleep well knowing your my hero,
Rman

Like I said, I'm not worried about how I spend my time, so why are you? I must be your hero if you're so concerned about me. Seems to me you would have better things to do that worry about someone you don't know, but maybe you don't. I post to try to help people - you post to question people. That makes you my hero. Post your email address and I'll email you all the info you want. Until then, I consider this matter closed.

Thank you very much for those comments, MAD DUC. I've taken much more valuable info from this site than I'll probably ever be able to give back, but if I think I can help, I'll try. For me, that's what this whole antique tractor thing is all about - people who enjoy it helping each other out.
