Well, I have several questions.

#1- Whats the best way to remove paint, without a pressure washer? I do not have one, nor do I have access to anything other than a garden hose and possibly a sandblaster. And that stripper stuff they sell at Ace Hardware. Whats the best way to get it down to the bare metal?

#2- I want to make it a light work/ show tractor. I may and may not have access to a paint sprayer. Would it be better to brush paint it or use rattle- can spray paint and a lot of primer?

#3- Do I need to use primer if I get it down to the bare metal? I have to get it to the bare metal, because what should be red has about 4 coats of blue on it.

#4- Would it be ok to paint the red part of a Ford 8N with IH Red paint?

Thanks in advance

Brush paint doesn't ever look good on a tractoe, all the little lines and grooves just look terrible.
You especially need to use primer if you strip it down to bare metal, if you don't the topcoat will likely peel off. Primer really helps the paint stick. IH red is a matter of personal opinion, go for it if you like the color.
I have had the best luck with Dad's brand paint/varnish stripper, sold a farm supply stores.
Good Luck.
