I have found the Linn company experimented with 4 cyl. (60 hp?) Stearns engines when they were seeking a replacement for the 4-1/2 x 5-1/2 "40 HP" Continental, and before they went to the Waukesha "EU" "60 HP" 4 cyl., I believe Stearnswas located in Ludington, MI. I see there is a Huiber Museum and wondered if my best bet for finding info. on Stearns is through them? I understand Monarch used them in their "steering wheel" type crawlers, and that eventually Allis Chalmers bought both, there is a Allis Chalmers motor grader at a local (upstate NY) engine show and I understand the 4 cyl. in it is a Stearns.

My family has a Model 40/62 Huber Tractor which has a Stearns engine. We are looking for a source for engine parts in particular gaskets. Any help would be appreciated.
