I was just given a small crawler. It has been in a barn for several years and I was once asked what I thought it was worth. At the time I offered $500 because it looks in good shape. Nothing more was said. I was told the drive axle is bent. Recently the place went up for sale and I offered $100 through a third party but today I was called and told to come and pick it up. I first have to load a pile of stuff from the barn. My pickup is now loaded with all sorts of interesting stuff.

So, does anyone have any information on these little tractors. This one has a single bottom plow, a ffront mounted blade and a small disk. It should be coming home with me in a few days.

I rented an Agracat summer of 1970 to do some work in my back yard in San Jose, Ca. It had rippers and a front blade. It had about an 8 hp Koeler engine. It was 48" wide and I was able to get it through the small opening between our fence and house. The man at the rental said that if I used it all day I would loose 10# as it was in August, he was correct. It did a good job and worked all day, it reshaped and leveled out an area about 50 X 20 feet that had been sloped. I had a ball that day. Some where I have a picture of me on the little tractor. It maybe some time before I can find the pic as we moved recently. I now have an IH 606 diesel tractor that I use to grade our dirt road up here on Mt Lassen.
Thanks for the memories, Ron Myers

I was just looking through some stuff I received on the Agricat and found the original sales invoice. It is dated 6-10-1952. New cost was $965. With dozer blade, plow, and spring tooth harrow, total cost was 1253.00 with 3% sales tax.

Dealer was Web Bros, 252 W Grand, Escondido, CA. Phone number was 980, no prefix or exchange, just 980. There is no listing for Web Bros. in the current phone book.

I have one of these agricats, and have been looking for information. The one I have has an eight horse Wisconson engine, a manually operated drawbar, and a manually operated blade on the front. I aquired it in the mid-seventies in Salmon Id.
