There is a Seaman tractor at an old smelter site in Leadville, CO. Currently it is a pale green but the original industrial yellow paint shows through the green. It is a large tractor with a GM diesel engine. It has what appears to be some sort of equipment related to road construction as there is a lot of oil and aggregate stuck to the tractor

I have a Seaman Tractor with a 6 cyl. flathead
Waukesha engine and am looking for any more info. I can find about it...I have a few numbers to go by but am not really sure of the year. Anyone with info. or interest please contact me. I have a few good pictures I can put online too if anyone wants to see it. This tractor has a full 7 foot rototiller swath and the previous owner said it is a 1941, but I'm not sure. He also said it was built for the war effort to make airstrips, and it just so happened that Seaman made the tractor with the tiller that year. Good old tractor, still tills with lots of power and is in pretty good shape.

A rather large machine? Seaman built rototillers and some of them were powered by a tractor they built. Last one I saw was on farm in Webster, TX.

It had been originally used by a municipality for road preperation.
