Does anyone know what size motor a 1940 Austin Western Road Grader has in it? We were told it had an International diesel, and if so do you know what size? Thanks

I'm not sure about your grader, mine has a gas 6cyl unline. my model is a D1434, engine mounted between blade and cab, on 6 wheel rear drive grader,(rear can also have duals on drivers) I'm searching for information about this tractor. I plan to restore. on the lower left side engine block CL is stamped on it. good luck on yours

It probably had either a UD 9 or a UD 14. Both Gallion, Adams, and Austin Western used these engines in various models.
