Looks kinda like the little Gibsons. The one I saw recently has an aircooled engine. Is this a rare tractor and what would one be worth?

It would depend on what year modle and what hood is on it. We have one of the rare ones. There should be a brass plate on it with a serial number somewhere on the tractor. The hoods were made out of aluminum and don't take much abuse. Does it have a twin disc clutch or diafram clutch, or belt drive.

Let me know a little more and I will find out what I can for you.

Hello Ottawa Mule Team owners. I have restored a model 16, Senior mule team with hood. Ser. #4172. The gas tank is behind hood on outside. I have an original two sided colored brochure that is 17" x 22" that gives much information. Pictures and mod. info as well as a picture of factory in Ottawa, Ks. Shows pictures of tractors and equipment in use. I would like to have production information. I don't know year mfg. quanity and etc. I would like to acquire equipment for the tractor. I can have my brochure reproduced. I would like to share my info. and obtain info. from others. I can email pictures of my tractor and the brochure. Ken

I live just outside Ottawa, Kansas, and have always admired the little Ottawa Mule Team Tractors. I understand they were built from early 1949 to July 1951.

This past weekend was the 9th Annual Power of the Past Tractor Show, held just 2 blocks from the building where Warner Manufacturing built the little Ottawa Mule Teams. Next year, the 10th Annual, will be very special, Ottawa Tractors and Warner Engines will be the feature models. If you would like more info about next year's show, let me know. I'll see what I can find out for you.

As a teenager sometimes referred to as a "hick", I love messing with old tractors, especially Allis Chalmers Tractors and Wheel Horse Garden Tractors.

If anyone has an Ottawa for sale not far from Kansas (and reasonably priced!) I would love to bring one back to it's roots here in Ottawa, Kansas.

Thanks!

Shawn

Richard, I live in Midland,TX and am interested in your Ottawa Mule if it is still available. I believe the mt4162 is the serial No. I can identify the model with a picture.
Thanks,
Ken
