I've got a 1945 Avery A and the grille is the same one as found on the General GG's (Cletrac) from which the model A Avery's evolved. Now, a contact in the forum here has a '42 model, and he sent me a photo which has the newer type grille (at least I think it's the newer type), that is the ones that are rounder and more styled than the older General GG types. Is this a possibility from the factory? Seems confusing to me. Anybody know how this might have happened?

THANKS - Mike

The Cletrac HG (crawler) grill has the crank hole dead center. The GG has the crank hole off to the side. Which one you got?

Mine is off to the side, like the General GG's and other Avery A's with the General styled grille.
