A friend of mine is building a pulling tractor with a 265 Chryler flathead engine. Does anyone know of an application that used this engine with an updraft carburetor and manifold? Most we have seen are downdraft. He is looking for a manifold. Thanks for any help you can give. Mike

I am currently putting a 251 in a 101 Massey tractor. Motor came from a 92 combine that we used to use. The manifold exits to the side instead of the top and I would like to find one that exits out the top. If you know of where I can find one let me know.

Some Oliver combines used Chrysler flatheads in the '60's. Models 525,535,and 545. My dad used these machines and always cussed the flatties. They later went to Chrysler 318. Might give that a try. My granddad converted an old Massey 101 super from the 218 flathead to a 265 and used the original manifolds. My Chilton car manual says that all the Chrysler flathead 6's used the same manifolds and my parts store says the gaskets are all the same. Hope this helps....Greg

Mike, The Massey Harris Super 92 combines have the updraft carb for the chrysler engines. I know of several in a salvage yard in my area(northwest Minnesota). I am looking for down draft manifolds for the small and big block chrysler flathead engines.
