I have a Centaur KV. Do not know the year. It is equipped with the flathead D-133 LeRoi engine. I would like to find a manifold to replace the bad one that I have. If anyone knows anything about these tractors, please contact me. Thanks!

We had a kv in bucks county Pa.It had an integrally mounted 14inch oliver chilled plow & a oliver one row cultivator steared with pedals while you looked down at the row.I am sorry that I am in no position to help you with your manifold. Here in So.Ca. we have quite a few shops that make both intake & exhaust manifolds.Your old manifold might be repairable CENTAUR

Sorry to rain on your parade but to the best of my knowledge there are no parts that interchange between your older flathead version engine and the newer overhead valve engine...When I rebulit the flathead engine in a tractor I owned years ago, I had to search catalogs for valves and etc. that were close enough that they could be machined to work...The manifold is very difficult to find...They may have used these in some stationary applications but Leroi engines are very difficult to find anywhere...they are a great motor but not very common....Good Luck!

Thanks for the info. Not surprising. I knew that it would be a hard search.

Well, mine was made in the mid to late 30's and has a flathead LeRoi engine. It is what I would call and unstyled tractor. How similar is this to yours?

Many parts are the same. My 46 has an overhead Le Roi engine but many of the internal parts are the same. Does yours have a serial number tag? What is the number?

Mine is missing the tag and that is why I want to find other owners. Maybe they have found where the number is stamped into the frame or something along those lines. It also seems that each year there were diferent options. Maybe I can pin down a year by matching mine with another. Who knows.
