I have a 1948 model 42 three wheeler and would know the proper type and color paint to use. I also need the seat redone,Dos some one have any answers. Thanks Al

There are 2 silverking sites that give paint info,but I don't like the ones they recomend.The silver crosses to a ford truck or car color and it has way too much orange in it.Many of the later ones were painted an off white cream,that just doesn't look right either.What i did was buy 1 can of silver aluminum and 1 of machenery gray and mixed them. It matched good the paint between the parts bolted together.

I too am interested in painting my 1948 this coming spring / summer. The mix you mentioned sounds pretty reasonable. Most of the silver I have found left on mine definitely looks more gray than silver. Thanks for the tip.
