Is there anyone out there that knows of these tractors??

How reliable are they? And are parts still available?

Any information would be great.
Alan

Try over at the Mitsubishi/Satoh board at TractorByNet. It is a great site for CUT questions.

Now that this site's search function has been restored, you should be able to find quite a bit of information on the Satoh S650G. Mine has been fairly reliable - on and off overheating problem & bubbling transmission fluid notwithstanding.

Unless you have a loader on front, take off the rear wheel weights. Probably should put an alcohol/water or antifreeze mix in the front tires. The tractor wants to rear-up with any weight on the back. You can hang some weight on front but not too much. Any weight you add that way rides on the front wheel's bearings.

The gear ratios are not the best for any type of ground work.

There are a couple of companies that provide Satoh specific parts but a lot of minor things like tune-up parts, points, etc. can be picked up at NAPA.
