on a 562 belarus, the glow plugs stopped working so we pulled them out and found them burned out. Replaced them and still nothing. The "glass eye" on the dash that you watch was burned out as well, so for now we by passed it, and went straight from the key switch to the wire that goes to the glow plugs. Now my question is ,is the glass eye really necessary to keep from burning the glow plugs again or is there a resistor to prevent that from happening? Also the 562 has A/C and it'll be coming off soon and I need to know if I can get brackets to move the alternator over where the compressor is to make it more compact and less troublesome.Do I need to make some or buy them? Thanks, David

Are sure you don't have intake preheater or flame primer. If you do then yes that glass indicator is important to the whole circuit. I you have more questions E-mail me. I have service manuals and wiring diagrams for many Belarus tractors. If you need parts I am currently importing in aftermarket parts from Russia and they cost about half the dealer price.

Hello, I'm having trouble with my belarus 802. I'm currently looking for a wiring diagram of the whole tractor. My tractor has no more power going to my fuse panel. It starts OK, but I have no lights or nothing like that. Need as much help as I can get right now. Any suggestions ?

No, i don't think the glass is necessary to keep from burning the glow plugs, all that is is an indicator to tell you that they are working. If they burn out again, I would think that there might be a short somewhere in the key switch. In my 802, that was what happened, and the glow plugs were on continually while the tractor was running, after I would turn the key to start the engine. On my Belarus, when I use the glow plugs, I have to fill a small fuel tank with diesel fuel, and that heats the manifold, and if that small fuel tank on the top of the intake manifold is empty, then the glow plugs don't work, I don't know if your tractor has the same setup. As far as the alternator brackets go, I'm sure they're available, since your tractor has A/C your alternator may be in a different location than mine, but on my tractor it still sticks out from the side of the hood.

I would like to know how to install glow plugs in a 3414 International tractor?

Is there some place where I could search to get a diagram of an installation??

Thanks very much for any help that you can give me!

George
