I was thinking about puting those tire scrapers on my 880 I am going to use it some in the winter to pull wagons and have been told that NF will ball up and was hoping that these would help one guy I talked to said they would help alot one said to set the wheels out witch I think makes the tractor look funny but may consiter becous I would not have to fix bolt threds it has full oil stering so it would not be afected
And the other guy said that if you run scrapers threw the corn stocks it will pick up the corn stocks and then you realy have a mess I am not planning on going mudding with it but if the frost goes out when I am on the back 40 I would like to avoid any extra problems next thing I looked at some at some shows on 88s and they are all bolted to the 2 bolt holes on the front and have found a set that might be for sale but my 880 has one hole in the front and I dont know if my front is on backwards or if one hole has been broke off but there are 2 in the back would the oliver scrapers bolt on in the back dont look like there is much room if I have to make my own bracket I mite as well use the set off an MM that is out in the barn what do you guys think Thanks Thomas

My dad's 88 had scrapers mounted on it that he used when it had a #4 Oliver corn picker mounted on it. I don't recall him ever taking the scrapers off. I'll ask him to look at my 880 and see if he remembers how they mounted on the 88, and if the 880 is the same the next time he comes over. To me, it looks like the 88 and 880 front axles are alike. Jim.

I looked at some more 88s at a show this weekend and they all had the 2 bolt holes in the front I looked at the 880 agin today and I think there is the same amount of room in the back as the front but I dobel checked mine has no holes at all in the front 2 in the back Thanks
