I have just looked at an 880LP. When I put fuel in the tank and opened the valve fuel started coming out the air cleaner. It has a zenith carb set up on it and I am not very familiar with them. It looks like It has a double diaphragm set up on it. If anyone could help I would appreciate It. Thanks, Jeff

From what you described in your post, the tractor that you looked at has the latest carburator/regulator setup.  It should have a line across the top of the diaphrams and another line from the air inlet to the carburator that goes into the tee fitting for the line across the top.

The tractor will have a line going from the tank valves to the thermostat area where the primary regulator and converter is located.  The device at the thermostat changes liquid fuel to vapor and reduces the pressure from tank presssuer to about 6 to 8 PSI.  The dual diaphram regulator near the carburator reduces pressure from 6 to 8 PSI to less than 1 PSI.  It is sensitive to the outlet pressure (which will be less than atmosphere when the engine is running) of the carburator, thus if the engine is not running the regulator should shut off fuel flow.

The problem is that either the primary regulator is not operating porperly, reducing pressure or the regulator at the carburator has a leaking valve or one of the diaphrams has failed and is not closing the valve.

I probably have the rebuild kit you need in stock. I would need the model numbers of the vaporizor and carb to tell you for certain.
