My dad and I bought a new 1963 Oliver "770" with the Power Traction Hitch. That hitch was a big improvement over the previous Hydraul Hitch. I especially appreciated the drawbar that could be raised up to move a very large load. When properly set with a semi-mounted plow this was a plowing machine. This plow was made for this hitch.(Important Note) The left lift link must have 4 - 5 inches of thread visable before the plow will ever plow level, then adjust the right side accordingly. Yes that Power Traction Hitch is worth repairing correctly. It was a good system in it's day and was a cheaper alternative by Oliver compared to the '1600' Oliver.

Try Farmersville Equipment in Farmersville, Pa. 1-717-354-2150. If Tom doesn't have it, he can usually get it.

Tom,

Try either of these places -

O"Brien County Implement
Sheldon IA Ask for Tom in parts.

Farmersville Equipment
Farmersville PA
Ask for Tom in parts.

Sorry I don"t have phone numbers. Both places helped me with mine. If your lift arms are just bent take them to a machine shop and have them make you new ones. I did that and they were about $30 a piece cheaper.
