I have never rebuilt a 1755 water pump.
With that being said, I have rebuilt dozens of
other applications in the industrial field. Usually your kit comes with (but not always)
the front and rear bearings, all needed gaskets
and may or may not have a new impeller. It should
also have the seal itself, which most of them
are now a ceramic or ceramic/teflon composition.
The best tool that you can have to replace the kit
is a press. We used an air press and have dozens
of different sized spacers and pipes to press the
seal into the pump housing.
If the 1755 takes a different type of seal and a
press is not needed, I'm sure someone here will
respond to my posting.
