Vickers Vane Pump Repair

Someone was driving our old 550 and jammed the hydraulics - now the casting on the pump is split in three places.. plus a couple of the impeller vanes shattered when they caught on the edges of the cracks.
The local dealer can't seem to find used parts, and tell me a replacement pump is very expensive.
Anyone out there have a used pump or parts thereof they can part with... or a direct source for new parts?

Thanks in advance for your help!

- Robin

I have a couple of old Vickers hydraulic pumps. Do you have a number off of your pump. Or you can call me at (316)722-4270

The pump has the following stamped on it.....
V120 25 213 10
1-21 S203
The center ring is 3" square.
The pump is from a Cockshutt 550, Serial number 140603-519

... I should also add the center ring is 3/4 " thick. Apparently this dimension varied across several versions of the pump.

Check your relief valves good as I've seen them stick and break these pumps. If you have a external valve check the relief in it good as this is the ones I've seen stick.

I am going 99% by memory but if I remember correctly the real early 550 pump is slightly different than the later ones. There will be a Vickers number stamped in the pump. Get that number and talk to a Vickers distributor. If both end housings are good you may get by vith a repair kit. Questions, send me a PM on the hartparr site. I work with a good Vickers distributor in my other occupation.

The pump is a V120. Both housings are good, although scored, so all I need is the central casting and the impeller with new vanes.
According to the excellent web page specified below, I can fix it with Cartridge kit #912058 and Seal kit #229236.
My local Motion Industries distributer can get me the seal kit, but the cartridge kit (according to them) is unavailable.

If you have a source for this hard-to-find kit I would be thrilled!
