The Carroll Family from Clarence,MO has pulled a 570 Super Cockshutt light super stock tractor called "The Levee Leeper" for 20+ years. Its turboed on alky and turns 6000 rpms or better and just keeps pulling year after year.I've never seen them hurt it.It makes alot of power.

The 298 is a good motor but put a later 3400 series in it and you will have a good set up.I know of one gas burner that pulls at 6500 rpms. They have a strong bottom end
