I have an Oliver 2155. It is the same thing as a G-1350 MM. I was wandering if anyone knew how much it would be worth. I also heard somewhere that there weren't many of the Oliver 2155's. Is this true. An if so how many were ever produced and how rare is this tractor.

The 2155, the 2055 and the 1865 were all just one year tractors according to my book, built in 1975. They were some of the Moline/Oliver tractors that white built right before it went to the current White "look". White also made some Green Molines with the oliver name plates on them. The Moline G-1355 and the G-955 were Olivers in 1975 as well. All of these tractors were limited production and are somewhat rare, but they are not too pricy, because they are more difficult to get parts for I think. I saw a G-1355 Oliver for sale about a month ago for right at $5,000 in good shape, had that been a 2255 Oliver it would have sold for twice that. They are cool for collectors or shows though.

The 1865, 2055 & 2155 tractors were all Minneapolis Moline built tractors, built at the Lake street plant in Minneapolis, MN. IE: 1865 was the MM G950, 2055 was MM G1050 & 2155 was G1350 tractors painted green w/Oliver decals. These tractors were all built in 1971 prior to the closing of the Lake Street plant. The G1355 tractor was built in Charles City, IA plant, had the MM engines with the Oliver drive train & Hydraulics. The majority of these were built as yellow MM's and a few as Olivers. There were not any G955 MM tractors built with Oliver green paint and decals. In 1975 Charles City was building the Silver White tractors. There were some Oliver tractors built for export in the 75/76 years, with the last Oliver built, a 2255 on Feb. 13, 76. The only MM design tractors built in CC was the final assembly of the A4T-1600. Charles City did build the MM power units until it was sold.

You are correct BA, It was the G-950 that was teh Oliver/Moline not the G-955. Thanks for the help on that one. Do you know what the production run on the 1865, 2055, and 2155 was??? How many of those were built???

I have a white 2-150 which is the same as a G-1355 Moline. I also have a 2255 that I use to pull our 5,000 gallon manure tanker with. Both of these tractors have the oliver over/under in them, hydraulic actuated brakes and Pto. In comparison the 2155 is strictly a moline G-1350 with mechanically engaged PTO, brakes, and T/A. I have a book that says that there were only about 210 G-1350 Molines that ever came from the factory with the oliver colors and name plate. I was thinking about restoring this tractor back to it's somewhat original condition if it was as rare as the book I have says. That is why I was asking someone else to find out if it is worthwhile. Right now I use it only for pulling. It is mostly stock with all hydraulics and 3- point taken off of it. This 2155 is a diesel with an added on turbo capable of producing about 350-400 Hprunning down the track in 4th gear with the T/A front in classes ranging from 10-16,000Lbs. It was state champ back in the early 80's in Pennsylvania. It served me well back then for non-pace classes but is still very competitive in the pace classes. If you find out any different how rare a 2155 is please let me know.

No, I think you are right Mak, there were very few of those tractors built. I dont have a book that tells me the production run of those tractors, but your number sounds about right. I would think it is worth putting back to origional for a collectable. Just my 2 cents. :-)
