Hi All,
I have now recieved my oil pump kit. 1 question.
How is the gyrotor gear removed from the shaft? Mine seems to need to be pressed, but I prefer not to press againt the oil pump housing.
Thanks, Frank.

Hi OOfxd,

I admire you for wanting to rebuild your oil pump yourself, but most folks take it to a machine shop or tractor dealership service department and let them rebild it for that very reason. You will need a press and a reaming tool and a micrometer to check the clearences. HTH. Rick

Thanks Rick,
My bushing/shaft is in very good condition & has no play so I feel that a gear swap will do the trick. The gears show some wear. I do not have an engine machine shop in our small city. Frank.
