If you have a 847d carb on your tractor this carb is for the 1941 FORD GP jeep. The jeep has the same engine as the 9n tractor. I will gladly buy you a new carb for the 847d for my jeep restoration :)

Eddie..... ...the 9N-Tractor uses the incredable Marvel/Schebler TSX-33 "UP-DRAFT" carb and side-mounted oilbath airfilter. There is NO ROOM for a "down-draft" style carburator. (gravity feed gas tank is in the way)..... ...respectfully, Dell

True but I have been told sometimes they are found on tractors with a hole cut in the hood :)

If you or anyone you know has a 847D carburator that they might want to sell, please let me know. I am trying to assist a relative in finding parts to restore his 1941 Ford GP military vehicle and the 847D was the factory carburator. These parts are pretty hard to find, but I thought I would post an ad here as these carbs sometimes show up on old tractors. Thanks to anyone who can help.
