when you get all of those manuals scanned onto C D don't fail to post a for sale ad. bet you turn into the Zane Sherman of C D rom.

also might be worth noting that there are "after market" 16 inch rims that fit 8N spindles without modification and Chevy pickup rims can be made to fit if you redrill the hubs

I have no intention of selling the info. I'll probably just have interested parties send me a CD-R/RW and return postage and that will be fine, thanks.

See you..... ..Ed

You didn't say front or back, but here's the whole scoop on the 8N. Someone else will have to confirm whether this info also applies to the 9N:

Ed, I haven't seen any 6-16 bias ply tires around here. Would you happen to know the radial equivalent?

Sure wouldn't, Al. But, I'm sure any tire dealer could cross reference it for you.

Ed, the information you post in response to questions continually amazes me...you must have quite a library and a busy scanner....your efforts are appreciated....Brian.

Hi Brian:

>> you must have quite a library and a busy scanner. <<

Chuckle..... ..yes to both. I've been gradually scanning pieces of my literature library to archive the info on CD-ROM. Often the questions here are used as motivation to pull out and scan another. It gets tedious to do it "just to do it." It's a good way to pass a rainy or really cold day when I don't want to be outside. I want to eventually have all the Master Parts, Assembly and Operators, and Owners manuals on CD-ROM so that I can archive them in a safe deposit box in case something happens to my hard copy collection and to more easily share with my N-bretheren.

Take care..... ..Ed
