I agree; sell the tractor, pay the bills, and buy X-mas presents for the wife and kids!

You WILL survive. The lord will help you.

Doc, I'm sorry to hear of your employment/financial situation. I have been unemployed/laid-off a few times in my life. It is not the end of the world. There is life after lay-off. Have you filed for unemployment compensation? That is what unemployment benefits are for, situations like yours.

I don't mean to pry into your business anymore than you have willingly stated but I wish the best for you and your family.

If you have to sell your tractor, I'm sure you can sell it without a problem. Tractors are an asset/investment. There are many N-board folks in Michigan.

DOC AND LISA NAD KIDS:
I am extremely sadden by hearing of your recent misfortune, maybe you may rent out the tractor to someone who may need it for a small job. Income plus you keep the title. Or even if needed, put it for sale on this site before eBay with photo. I would hope your luck would turn for the better with the coming year. If I was in the area I would put on that starter for you, maybe someone near you will chime in. Our best wishes to you.
