If so, do you have a picture? I'm curious to see what the difference between yours and mine may be. How do I post a picture?

Am I close enough?!? :-)

I used to have a bunch of pictures up on a photo hosting web site that went bankrupt. Just have not had the time to find a new site and reload them. Sorry.

I could answer some questions, though. Mine matches the 8N description that John Smith has on his web site. See link below. It is a BIG page so it takes a while to load, but is worth it for the information it contains.

Regards,
Larry

Thanks, Ken, for getting my picture up there. I'm going to give it another go to see if I can do it right this time.

Wow, that's nice. I noticed your don't have the Ferguson emblem. Neither does mine. I thought that was supposed to be a 9n thing. Do you have the i-beam type steering arms or the more rounded ones?

Doug,
The hood has two inch spacing for the emblem, no air "door," and no script. I have no idea if it"s original. It does have the round radius rods which I think were introduced in 1944. I got it with the 4 x 19 five lug front wheels, then changed to the wider six lug wheels and hubs in case I put the loader back on someday. Identifying all the parts that are original and replacement is on my list of things to do. But, you wouldn"t believe how far down the list THAT is.

Pic posting is easy.. once you have the pic hosted somewhere in the internet ( even the pic gallery here).. just right click on the pic.. select properties.. hilite the url.. hit ctrl-c to copy the address.. then use ctrl-v to past the address into the optional image url box under the message.

Uploading the pic to the site is easy.. just head to the appropriate pic gallery on the left side.. it gives you the instructions.
