This subject came up over the weekend in another post about using wheel extentions to add duals to an N series. Are the wheel extensions the correct way to add duals or is there another (better) adapter to use? Thanks.

John

The extentions or spacers on E-bay that the other post refered was the optional parts sold for dual wheel installation for the 50"s-60"s time frame of Ford Tractors. Good, inexpensive and easy method. See these units come up for sale fairly often for anywhere from $60 to 120 a pair at swap meets and on E-bay.

I've seen them similar to this system on N's and medium size tractors. special eye/turnbuckle bolts and a spacer ring. I don't know that this company make these for N's but you can check.
