Gary..... ..NO, the N-Exhaust DOES NOT USE a donut gasket. Your exhaust pipe has a bell-mouth to fit the exhaust manifold. A correctly installed manifold clamp is all that is required. (n.b....the manifold clamp has a rightsideup and can be inadverntly installed upsidedown). Checker out closely..... ...Dell

The clamp I have has a smaller ID on the side that goes down (exhaust pipe) and slightly bigger ID on the up side (manifold). Just take the clamp off and hold the two halfs together and you can see the difference.

If you still can't get it to seal perfectly.. cut a strip out of a soda can, and sandwhich it around the joint before you tighten the clamp down.. this did it on my 2n.
