used rims?

I'm switching from AG tires to turf tires (placating the wife who hates it when I drive across the lawn). Two questions:

1. What width rims? I see you can buy new in 10", 11", and 12" widths. Will a Titan R-3 fit on 11" rims?

2. Where's the best place to find used rims?

thanks,

-bill

What are you going to do with ag tires and rims?
Are they in good shape, are you going to sell them?

Doc,

I hadn't given it much thought. I'll probably keep them and use them in the spring when nothing but AG tires will get through the silt mud we endure here in the former basin of the St Lawrence sea.

Keep in mind that if your going to use turf tires you wont be able to chew tobacco, because if you spit in front of the rear tire youll be stuck. T.S.

You might try a tractor dealer and see if they have any used ones. I bought two of the later model 6 loop kind for 100 bucks at a tractor junk yard in AL a few years back. 11 inch wide. I bought my rear 13.4 x 28 turf tires used from a NH dealer. They were takeoffs from a 3930. I used some 4x19 motorcycle motor cross tires for the front. I turned the toe-in to toe-out about 1/4" and I don't put a mark on the lawn when I mow.
