Look at the photo ads at 52 8N. Mine must be worth at least $5000!

Award winning show tractor? I believe that this tractor took first place in the "Highest Price Tractor" category.

Isn't that a Farmall seat or one of those aftermarket red/white jobs that has the seat covering molded into the edge? Not a Ford item to my knowledge. Me thinks the award must be from some sort of custom show. Looks like a real clean tractor but it sure has some bizarre touches.

Not that I doubt the guy, but I would like to know where and how many awards the guy won with the 9N/2N grey on there :)

Me too. Maybe he meant to say $1500. Notice the carb air tube looks gray also.

I remember seeing chrome plated air tubes on Ebay a while back. Maybe this guy thought it was originally cadmium plated like the spark plug conduit? This alone adds $3,000.00 to the value of the tractor.

Looks like acorn nuts on the wheels. When they rust up he can twist off all his lug bolts.

I surfed thru a bunch of the Photo ads, most of the first twenty or so are the same guys. He seems to have a real interesting yard there looks like he scoured the desert for any old iron he could find. Either old machines are real expensive in California or this guy isn't selling to much. Still I would like to wander his property for an afternoon to see what he has.

And notice, that he is willing to trade most of his old iron for "FORDS". He thinks he can get $15,000.00 for one? Remember, something is not worth a price that one asks, but it is worth what some else is willing to pay for it.. This guy must have been smoking some vegetables....or sniffing glue..
Happy Motoring
