Sparkplug extenderes are attachments that screw on to a sparkplug and screws into the plug hole. It basicly covers the electrode of the plug and prevents it from becoming fouled. It has a hole in the bottom of the case that allows the vapor of gas to get to the sparkplug but keeps it from fouling out. The plug screws into the top of the device and then it screws into the block on the engine. It a cheap fix for a moter that is fouling plugs. It is only a temporary fix for the dreaded overhaul. I have them on my 44-2N for about 3 months and they work great.I have not had fouled plugs since then. I use to have to clean my plugs very often. I don`t use my 2-n that much I disc alittle and hog some. I might run it 2-3 hours a week. I just like to look at it and start it up she is like an old friend . Get you a set of them things at the part store along with a new set of hot plugs all for less than 20.00 bucks. It helped mine . Happy Holidays Homeboy
