Well....

It weren't in backwards....
Pressure plate was good....

Throwout bearing / forks good..

Clevis attached to shifter fork shaft..not good..

After swearing (oops..sweating) through another tractor break..the mechanic's pipe bowl was around 9000 degrees centigrade...he was smokin....finally we pulled the clutch shifting shaft out...there the culprit lay, under grit and grime..the clevis that attaches to the clutch shaft had sheared right at the base of the clevis...a little welding later....

fixed clutch..finally..no more $#%@$%#&%$@

AS for the trailer decking..1/8" plate 83 7/8 x 48 costs about $83.12 here in SE virginia (cut to fit)...the heck with replacing plywood..only adding approximately 150lbs to trailer..plus it is maintenance free.(for a day or two...)

going steel.

Just remember little stuff will slide around alot easier on the steel.
