Is $62 a fair price to clean and seal a gas tank for a 8n. The local radiator shop quoted me this price. It sounded high to me. What do you think?
Thanks Mark

I used the eastwood kit to do mine, I believe it was about $60 with shipping and additional chemicals and it took about 4 hours labor to fill/drain with the various prep chemicals and babysit the sealer so it flowed out thoroughly. If you can get someone to do a good job for the price quoted, I'd jump on it! If it makes your decision easier, talk to other customers that have used this service. Good luck!

I just finished the $60 Por-15 treatment. It worked great but I would gladly pay $2 extra for someone else to do it. It's messy and not the part of tractor restoration that I prefer to do.

The price was $200.00 cdn for the same in my city. I did it myself with a POR 15 kit for $60.00 and it worked very well. Do a search for gas tanks for lots of info.
