I am looking for information on this tractor. Any information you have will be greatly appreciated. I am purchasing a 1957 MM Propane 5 star tractor with a bucket, it has been sitting for quite some time and I want to refurbish it and make it run. I am getting a manual from a dealer but any other information would help. Thank you all for your help. Thanks John

I have a 1959 5 star LP that I got from my father when he retired from farming. I have never had to do any real repairs to the fuel system yet. If it isn,t leaking I would just put a few gallons of propane in and try to start it. The start mixture fuel screw is the only thing you might have to mess with. It is very sensitive and the smallest rotation makes a big difference. Full choke is always needed on mine even in warm weather untill the motor has warmed up a little bit. He always started the tractor with vapor then turned on the liqued after the motor was warm.
