I have 1949 "U" and need replacement fanbelt. Existing numbers appear to be: MM KE 964 E. It is the big wide belt. I also need to replace the seal in the "fan drive bearing hub" Does anyone have a number on that seal? Is there a NAPA number for either of these items. Thanx Dave

I just got a Gates TR32491 Green Stripe belt for my 1956 UTS Special. I don't know for sure if it will fit the earlier serial number tractor and the closest one to me is about 15 miles and I haven't had time to go look at it. Hope this helps.

Scott, Thanks for the homework, I'll go to NAPA and see if they can order or cross order that belt. On the U it is that real "fat" belt, about 1" wide, 1/2" deep and about 43" round.

Thanx again,
Dave

Hello Dave & Scott

I have a MM UT with the same problem. I need to replace the fan belt and the generator belt. I expect those belts are the same on all of the U models. If you come up with gates or any other manufacturer's number, would you please post it here or E-mail me with the info.? My unit also has a loader, with a front pump, so I will have to remove a drive shaft coupling in order to install the belts, so I want to make sure that I have it right when I do it.

Thanks Guys!

Tom

I just bought that big belt last week. It was a Gates. I'll get the number for you tomorrow. If you don't see a post, then email and remind me in case I forget. I think the belt was a regional warehouse or factory order.

The Seal should have a number on it. I replaced several seals on my GB and bought them all at NAPA.
