We talked about this awhile back I'm finaly getting around to updating that page in my photo album I'd sure like it if some of you that know a little about that engine would look at the page and make sure you agree with it. If you have something for me to add e-mail me or leave your information here. I'll leave a link for the page below.

Thanks!
Jeremy

I had the opertunity to go to St. Paul and view some of the negatives for the Jensen collection @ the MHS and found some negs. that were a "cut-away" of this engine. I've been told that they are very had to start after sitting for any amount of time. Mike

Jeremy,
That's definitely the same engine I've got. Kelvin summarized quite well in his post. Do you know the serial number of the engine on your web page? I'm curious how close it is to mine.

Brian

I'm passing along some info BMG sent me back in January.
He calls it a 206-4 military power unit. (mine does look olive drab in spots where its not brush painted yellow.)
The hydraulic lifters work by plungers riding on the cam forcing oil up into those covers, where another piston works the valve.
He said they are hard to start because oil leaks out of the system and it has to be cranked and then the air bled out of the system so the oil will work the valves.
BMG also said that he was told these engines were military spec, but as far as he could tell, his uses regular 206 bearings.
