One thing I should re-emphasize is that the colors shown by the color chips above are not representative of the actual colors. In fact, I was somewhat surprised by how much different they looked after posting. However, they can be used as a guide to at least give a relative comparison to each other. As an example, color chip #1 is the standard & lovely PG2 that is seen on many tractors. The color chip sure doesn't look like it though. For an even more dramatic difference, color chip #2 is exactly the same paint as the paint on the tractor below it. The chip & the tractor colors are not even close. As mentioned before, lighting, paint substrate, camera settings and the fact that everything is digitized and viewed on monitors that may have different color settings can produce a different result from the original. Again, only consider the color chips shown above as a relative guide to colors—not an absolute guide.

Included is a pic of some original PG1 paint in proximity to the PPG Concept Navistar School Bus Yellow. Notice how much brighter the Concept is. I don't know if it's a good thing or not but it's what I went with.

Correction

Color chip #3 (PPG Concept DCC 82882 Navistar School Bus Yellow) is exactly the same color as the tractor pic below it. I erroneously referred to it as color chip #2 in the previous post.

Also the pic of the steering column, that identifies original paint, is flanked by the same paint as color chip #3 (PPG Concept DCC 82882 Navistar School Bus Yellow),
