I was wanting to know if any one knows why the 1355 lp's use a lot more fuel than the 1350 lp does and has less power. Both tractors have a 504 B engine. Were the Diesel's the same way? The pistions and heads are the same, are the cams different? I do realize the 1355 runs about half a dozen hyd pumps but we can't pull any of the 1000's the 1350 or the A4T-1600 hard enough to use the fuel the 1355's use on light duty jobs.

Also I'm looking for two 0000262 heads. They were used on the LPG 1350, 1355, A4T-1600, some of the late 1000's may have had them, and some of the later 504 power units.

Thanks, Jeremy Fiorelli

I am not famailiar as you on these tractors. If my memory serves the 1355 diesel was Turbo'd wile the 1350 wasn't. I don't know the differences on the LP tractor but I do know both would have used the terrible Century system. The century in converse to the Impco or Ensign does not have a part throttle enrichment system. And the Load side doesn't open until 90% of load. This is why it cracked so many head and exhaust manifolds.

the 1350 was all minnie while the 1355 was only minnie at the engine..rear end was oliver...in kansas they thought the tractor was bad, poor rear end. not made as heavy as m.m., that lead to poor sales..but at that time minnie was being killed off any way...both tractors normally were not turbo'd..some though were altitude compensated..turbo'd
