I just purchased a '49 ZAU; I have just replaced the coil, battery, wires and plugs and am still having trouble getting spark. Does anyone have any advice for me? This model has good rubber, good metal, hydraulics for an undercarriage cultivator and I am putting new paint on it. What is the approx. worth of this model? Thanks for any help!

Look at the spark plugs as well. Just because they are new doesn't mean they are any good with cracked insulators from being drop and stuff.

You didn't mention the points. Are they in good condition and set to .020-.022"?

I live in the Midwest and if your tractor is in running condition, I have seen them sell for a low of $800 to a high of $1200. Hope this helps.
