Does anyone have Arp half tracks installed on a MF 35 or similar tractor? I am in the process of installing a set on my tractor and don't believe I have the proper axle brackets. The brackets fit the axle however the the pivot pins for the idler arms are about 5 inches below the bottom of the tractor axle. I think this puts the idler arm at too shallow an angle as it is almost parallel to the ground when the idler wheel is installed. I have some pages of the installation manual, but it is hard to tell from the drawings where the pivot point should be in relation to the bottom of the axle. Any information would be appreciated.

This site won't let me post the link. If you give me your email I'll send it to you.

Thanks Don & Brian - I was able to find a bit more info last nite, and have decided to fabricate new brackets. Will let you know how it works out. Thanks again!

Here's a link to a picture in the archives of a 35 with tracks.

Hi
From memory, I think that the wheel runs at the same level as the rest of the wheels. That said; it was a long time ago that I last saw my cousin's TO35 W/tracks on it.
Good luck
Brian
