I am almost complete on the restoration of a 101 Sr. My tractor is equipped with a TRX-36 Marvel Schebler Carburetor. It is not listed in the carburetor section on this website. I need another carb or a kit for this one. Can anyone help please?

Hi Bill, try Matt Gall in Indiana. His companies name is Motec. Phone 765-963-6628 or email MoteEngr@aol.com. He speacializes in Moline, but is helpful and very knowledgeable with the TRX. Thanks for the phone call, it was a pleasure! Good luck, eric

I have a 1940 super 101 with this style carb. I owned the tractor for 8 years and one fall when I went too put it away, it would not run unless the choke was on. I called Denny's Carb. and he was rude and would not even offer to repair or replace. I sent it to the east coast to a company that advertised in Antique Power. The guy did a beautiful job, but it took 11 months to get it back. yes I am a patient man. People have told me that these carbs plug in the passages in the bottom of the bowl, but with a wife and 2 kids, I do not always have the time or enough knowledge to tackle carb. rebuilding. I have a spare TRX and I am willing to sell it.
Good luck, eb 920-829-6343
