You realize that when you "turn the pump up", you're gonna' increase the temperatures and pressures on the piston crown and effect the engine durability, don't you? The extra horsepower doen't come without a price.

I have heard about these problems. another question that i have is if i turn up the pump is there just a way to turn it up just a little or is there only a "stock" setting and then the "balls to the wall" setting? i am only looking to gain a little. i am not looking for the extreme

I've never been inclined to do it so I couldn't tell you for sure, but I don't think it's all or nothing.

well i am one of those kind of people that can never just seem to leave some thing alone. i like to get just a little more power is all. its more fun that way! even if the price of fuel is almost 3 bucks

Give me a call. I can tell you how to do it. It is to complex to do in an email.

A 2675 is pretty well turned up already. If you want more revs you can turn out the high idle adjusting screw. At $2 diesel I don't understand why youd wannna do that.
