Thank you in advance for your help. Removed gas head for new intake valves. Reinstalled head and I am sure I set the intake valve clearance at .017 and exhaust valve clearance at .019. (Mfg. says .016 intake HOT, and .018 exhaust HOT). Switched spark plugs to determine if bad plug. Switched wires to see if bad wire. Tractor still refuses to run on all 4. Input appreciated.

Hi Mike, In order to cover your bases one step further, you should remove all plugs and ground them one at a time while cranking to see if they're really firing on all four wires.

Hope it cures.

Good advice from Norm. Ground out the plugs or the wires and be sure that there is no spark present. I've got a wire crossed before on my 44 and I was " sure " it was right. I was wrong.
