I have about 280 tractors in my collection, mostly Allis-Chalmers. My wife wouldn't let me collect the real ones so I settled for toys.

My friend is looking for an Allis Chalmers WD45 model tractor for her son-in-law. We would appreciate any feed back or help in locating one.
Thanks -

Your collection blows mine away....I just started a few months back. So far I have the Franklin Mint IH H, IH Wagon and the Ford Golden Jubilee, Ertl Super MTA, and Scale Models F-12.
I plan on building a display case after I finish my tractor...

I started about 10 years ago with the 1/64 scale and moved up. I don't go after the early models like most collectors do. I was raised in the 60's, so I go after the ones like I grew up with. Most collectors keep thiers in the boxes, but I like mine out so I can admire(play) them when the urge arises.

I also collect the 1/64 scale size. I have about 20 of the 1/16 scale, but just don't have enough room to keep that up. I have 100 or more of the little ones, about 10% are the really old ones.

We don't keep ours in boxes either... in fact we threw them away (I'm sure we'll regret it years from now). It's mostly just for pure fun. My little boy has played with them since he was 2 or so.

The 1/64 scale implements don't seem to hold up to well to being played with...

Anyone have pictures of their collection they can post?

Kim

I have a cast aluminum John Deere pedal tractor. I cannot find a model number, I think it is from 42-48 series judging from the narrow front end. Can anyone help with identifacation? Thanks, Bob

I started collecting the 1/64th tractors when a co-worker gave me a 4WD JD toy, just to get my goat. I had to retaliate by getting a few red ones and now have about 30-40. I also have LOTS of other toys (trains, cars, trucks, planes, etc), and since I'm little boy (and a grandpa at the same time), they get played with a lot.

Hey, my name is nathan. Im fairly new to the computer so I m not sure if this is the right place for me to ask a question. I ve only been collecting for a few months. Most of my tractors are 1/64 scale. I only have a couple of dozen. My question is to anybody that collects is, Does anybody know where I could find a allis chalmers D-17 1/64 scale narrow front toy tractor. I would really appreciate any replies. Thank you.

I think that toy tractor collecting is a graet hobby. I have been collecting since I was born. My first tractor was a 1/16 scale 5020 John Deere that my cousin gave me as a joke on my dad, because he is a pure red paint man. I have all sizes and colors. Most of my collection is international/CaseIH. Most of my 1/16 tractors are in the box and I feel this is vital in collecting. Some of my collection is not, these are tractors that I have picked up at auctions and shows.

While cleaning out in the garage, I found a complete box containing 7 toy JD tractors. Box has on it milestones in JD tractor Design.
I am at a loss on where to look for the value of these tractors. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jack
